Director, Regional Manager QLD
Jerry has over eighteen years' experience working for major companies in senior community affairs/corporate social responsibility roles, as well as four years in local authority employment and economic development, and eight years in government administration in Vanuatu. Prior to coming to Australia in 2006, Jerry’s roles included working with Zurich Financial Services, Littlewoods, Kingfisher and Whitbread. Jerry is widely regarded as one of the most internationally accomplished CSR professionals and has served on a number of high-profile Boards. At Zurich Financial Services, he created their award-winning employee engagement program, including the first ever executive assignment program involving NGO’s in India.
Amanda’s role at Net Balance is to ensure the efficient and effective running of the Net Balance offices. Amanda also works with Net Balance Foundation to coordinate training sessions and offers support to the People & Culture, Marketing and Finance teams. Amanda has over ten years’ experience in administration. She previously worked for a financial services firm where she spent five years developing and building strong skills in administration management. Amanda holds a Certificate IV in Financial Services and a Certificate III in Business Administration.
Kathryn manages projects across Net Balance’s Strategy & Reporting and Assurance service lines and also works closely with the Supply Chain team, helping businesses to develop and implement more sustainable approaches to procurement. She has over ten years’ experience in geography and sustainability across the research, government, and consulting sectors. She previously worked at GHD, the Australian National University and the University of NSW. Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Science from the ANU. In 2011 Kathryn contributed to the publication ‘ASX 100 Disclosures on Supply Chain Sustainability’ which was nominated for the Ethical Investor Corporate Sustainability Awards.
Marcus specialises in sustainability strategy, reporting and assurance and has over seven years’ experience in the professional services industry in Australia and the UK. Prior to Net Balance, Marcus worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers London. His clients included a number of multinational FTSE 100 companies in the mining, real estate, consumer goods and industrial manufacturing sectors. Marcus also worked for KPMG in the internal audit team and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting). He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and Bachelor of International Business from Griffith University.
CitySwitch National Program Manager
Alexander joined the Net Balance Foundation in 2013 as part of the national roll-out of the City Switch Green Office program. Prior to joining Net Balance, he was the program analyst at Low Carbon Australia Limited, administering the Australian Government’s National Carbon Offset Standard Carbon Neutral Program. He is an approved verifier under the Airport Carbon Accreditation. Alexander holds a Master of Business and a Master of Technology and Innovation Management from the University of Queensland and has completed a Bachelor of International Business Administration in Germany.
