We are a member of AccountAbility which manages the AA1000 series of standards which include the AA1000 Assurance Standard, the AA1000 Accountability Principles Standard and the AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standard.




We partner with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Australia and New Zealand to produce a research series which analyses disclosures on areas of non-financial performance by Australian Securities Exchange top 50 companies.



The Australian Legal Sector Alliance (AusLSA) works to promote sustainable practices across the legal sector. Net Balance provides the secretariat for the Alliance. The AusLSA Project Manager based in our Melbourne office is able to draw on the knowledge and resources of the Net Balance Group.



We partner with CDP to produce the CDP Australia Water Report, which analyses water data disclosed through CDP at the request of 530 institutional investors representing US$57 trillion in assets. The data comes from some of Australia’s largest ASX-listed companies in water-sensitive sectors.



Net Balance provides subject matter expertise for Change2 content covering a diverse range of sustainability engagement modules.



Net Balance is an organisational stakeholder of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the world’s most widely-used sustainability reporting framework. Net Balance Director, Robyn Leeson, is an elected member of the GRI’s Stakeholder Council.


Net Balance works with the Greenhouse Gas Management Institute (GHGMI) to develop and deliver accredited online training courses focusing on the Clean Energy legislative package and underpinning legislation such as the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) scheme.

In 2013 Net Balance entered a three-year partnership with the Banksia Foundation to measure the social, environmental and economic value created by the Banksia
